Meeting and exceeding NIJ LVL IV Certification Standards, AraTech Research brings to you AraTech LVL IV Body Armour Plates constructed of a one piece monolithic ceramic core that provides complete edge to edge strike coverage.

AraTech LVL IV body armour’s cores are resin laminated with aramid to ensure enchanted durability and protection.

The entire plate is then enveloped with foam protection. 5mm foam is laminated to the front and back strike faces and our custom foam edge protection is applied all around the plate edge for superior real world operational durability.

FEATURES

• NIJ RATING: Independently tested and certified to NIJ 0101.06 Level IV by Oregon Ballistic Laboratories. Against the .30 cal M2 armour-piercing threat, our plates stopped every round with zero perforations and held backface deformation under the 44 mm NIJ maximum. The estimated V50 ballistic limit of 1,004 m/s (3,294 ft/s) sits well past the 2,880 ft/s reference velocity — roughly 30% more impact energy than the standard threat. We don’t just meet the line; we clear it with room to spare.
